Roger Christian Ede, O.D.

Dr. Roger Ede is a 1968 graduate of Pacific University College of Optometry. He has been active in clinical practice, professional and community associations throughout his career. Dr. Ede has served as President/Chair of the Hawaii Optometric Association; the State Board of Examiners in Optometry; and the National Board of Examiners in Optometry-Clinical Skills Exam Committee.

Active in community associations, Dr. Ede has been a member of the Leeward Jaycees, the West Pearl Harbor Rotary Club, Hawaii Kai Rotary Club, and is a past President of the Hawaii Kai Lions Club. He was awarded the Lions Club Humanitarian Award for District 50 Lions in May 2001.

Dr. Roger Ede has served as an Adjunct Assistant Clinical Professor for Pacific University College of Optometry. In October 2001, he was named as the 2001 Recipient of the College of Optometry's Distinguished Alumni Award.

Dr. Ede is also an active member of Kaumakapili Church, where he sings in the choir. Kaumakapili Church is a part of the United Church of Christ and was founded in 1836 by missionaries to the islands.


Duane A. Chang, O.D.

Born and raised in Hawaii, Dr. Duane Chang graduated from Moanalua High School and the University of Hawaii at Manoa prior to attending Pacific University College of Optometry. He graduated with distinction in 1988. Since 1989 Dr. Chang has been serving patients at the Waipahu office in central Oahu. Active in all aspects of clinical care, Dr. Chang has a special interest in prescribing and fitting all types of contact lenses. Dr. Duane Chang, as well as all the optometrists at Vision Care Centers of Hawaii, is a proud member of the American Optometric Association.


Kyle Oroku, O.D.

A Keiki O Ka`Aina, Dr. Kyle Oroku graduated from Leilehua High School and completed his undergraduate degree at Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon prior to attending the University's College of Optometry. He graduated with distinction in 2008. Dr. Oroku completed a Residency in Primary Eye Care with emphasis in ocular disease at the Veterans Administration Hospital, Lexington, Kentucky. Returning to the islands in 2009, Dr. Oroku joined Vision Care Centers of Hawaii- Waianae Clinic. Dr. Oroku has a special interest in the diagnosis and treatment of diabetic retinopathy and glaucoma management. Dr. Oroku is a member of the Hawaii Optometric Association, as well as the American Optometric Association.


Mily A. Wu, O.D.

Dr. Mily Wu is a 1994 graduate of the University of Hawaii and a 1998 graduate of the Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton. Upon returning to the islands she joined the Vision Care Centers practice in January 1999. Dr. Wu speaks Vietnamese fluently and is a certified Laser Vision Consultant with the Laser Eye Center of Hawaii. She is an active member of the Hawaii Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. Her favorite home activity is spending family time with her husband and her son.


Nora Chan, O.D.

Dr. Nora Chan is a 2005 graduate of Pacific University College of Optometry. Dr. Chan was born and raised and educated in Honolulu. She is a graduate of Iolani School and UCLA. Dr. Chan speaks Mandarin Chinese and is trained in all aspects of general optometry with a special interest in ocular disease. She is a certified by the Laser Eye Center of Hawaii to comanage Laser Refractive Surgery patients. Active in community affairs, Dr. Chan is a member of the Hawaii Optometric Association and serves on the Board of Directors.
